this is the lawson apartments from the riverside drive
this is the lovely lounge room with views

 master bedroom with wardrobes
 leading to bathroom down hall
 new vanity with the gap

vanity new

new cook top and rangehood

new stainless sink and tap

single bedroom and wardrobes

kitchen in progress

have to sort those tiles.....

new vanity in place

new carpet in the lounge room

carpet close up....
The carpet has gone in today and despite some hiccups with the ancient lift that wasnt working at first and some disgruntled residents............oops ( that is what us project managers have to deal with all the time!!) The carpet is laid and it looks very clean, very smart, very nice.................the blank canvas is now ready for filling with colour and charm!!
So whats next??

the Furniture is arriving tomorrow by delivery and the may have to use the 6 flights of stairs to get the lounges up to the 6th floor...................better them than me??! The lift is too small to fit any furniture that is too big!! So we will see if it all works out soon enough..............

Wednesday too we are trying to fix a tiling gap that has appeared with the new vanity going in- we have a 2 inch gap where the new vanity is slightly too short and the tiles end..............what to do??? Have got to come up with a good solution as the tiles are old and not available any more.
TRICKY DICKIE??? YEP IT IS...................ONE OF THE THINGS WE COME UP AGAINST ALL THE TIME................ALONG WITH ANGRY TENANTS!

Anyway- enjoy the pics and keep following........more to come tomorrow and thursday and then the BIG REVEAL ON SATURDAY 9TH OCTOBER- KEEP ON TUNING IN TO SEE THE FINISHED RESULT?
